The farm offers accommodation in family-friendly fully equipped apartments, located within a working farm of about 100 hectares in the heart of the San Liberato-Narni nature reserve, on the border between the regions of Umbria and Lazio. It is located inside the San Liberato nature reserve, made up of a reservoir of approximately 100 hectares. The lake is an important staging area along the migratory routes of various species of birds. Nearly 170 species of birds call the reserve home, including swans, herons, great crested grebes, hawks, egrets and knights of Italy. It is an important center for ornithology and nature photography. Facilities available for guests: fully equipped riding stables offering a riding school with an instructor licenced as well as horse trekking. Other sports on offer include swimming and downhill moto cross biking. The farm sports a full service airfield for ultralight airplanes. In what was once a farm shed and workshop enjoy, upon request, a large kitchen with a cozy common room that overlooks a beautiful courtyard with barbecue facilities. It is an ideal place for dinner with friends or just to enjoy a nice glass of local wine.
APARTMENTS: there are 7 apartments in the vernacular style, tastefully and comfortably furnished. All have a living room, small kitchen, bathroom and a covered porch. They are equipped with air-conditioning, WI-FI and satellite TV. The 5 apartments in fornt of the pool have 1 double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. One has also a loft equipped with a double mattress suitable for two children. The other 2 apartments have a bedroom with double bed, a double bed on loft in the living room and a double sofa bed downstairs in the living room. Baby cots available on request.
BIKE PARK: there are a variety of paths ranging from leisurely family routes to those for more advanced biking pastimes. Paths include simple excursions around the nature reserve, which are suitable for adults as well as children, or you can take on cross country and downhill trails for that adrenaline rush that only speed can give. Guided riding excursions as well as mountain biking courses can be arranged upon request. The courses are led by Italian Cycling Federation (FCI) certified instructors, adapted to the level and learning requirements of the group or individual.A shuttle service is also on offer to bring bikers to the downhill cycling facility. This facility, the heart of the bike park, has trails specifically developed and designed to ensure both fun and safety for everyone, from first time riders to experts. HORSE RIDING: the riding school has a resident Italian Equestrian Sports Federation (FISE) Level 3 instructor, providing individual or group lessons with horses and ponies for children and adults. In addition, the farm has 35 horse boxes, a club house with fireplace and air conditioning, 2 tack rooms, one 80 x 50m sand show jumping ring, one 60x30m sand dressage ring, one 20m diameter lunge ring, one 4-horse exercise carousel with sand, 8 paddocks, 2 covered horse baths with warm water and an infirmary with 24 hour veterinary service.
