Detached house with private pool situated on the outskirts of the small town of Giove. It lies in a quiet location (ensuring also privacy to the guests) with panoramic views on the surrounding hills and the village of Penna in Teverina. The house has a large covered terrace and a gazebo equipped with table and chairs to eat outside. There is also a barbecue to cook. The property has a large garden with pool, all for private use of the tenant. The pool is 8x4 meter (depth 1,4 meter), the pool area is fenced so this property is also suitable for families with young children and babies. The house is suitable for up to 4 adults and 2 children. There are 2 bedrooms and there are 2 folding beds for children of max 14-16yo in the living/games room on the lower floor. It is 5 minutes by car or a 20-minute walk to the town Giove (where different facilities are available: Co-op, bank, chemists, 3 butchers, a couple of bars and one restaurant). There is a 2nd restaurant at 1,5 kms where it is possible to taste local dishes. Amelia is 15 minutes away by car and offers a greater selection of shops and restaurants. From the holiday home in only 10 minutes driving you are on the highway Rome-Florence, in around 50-60 you are on the cityring of Rome.

SOUTHERN/CENTRE UMBRIA

In Umbria, a region that has gained a name for being the green heart of Italy, tourism is growing because of the unfamiliar harmony between nature, antiquities, historic centres and culture. The quiet of the countryside, good provisions and an inimitable cuisine are the great draw. This region is less touristy than Tuscany and this is especially appreciated by many tourists.

Southern/centre Umbria forms an ideal starting point for enjoying the peace of the surrounding hilly and mountainous landscape and on the other hand making trips to beautifull towns like Todi, Orvieto, Narni, Spoleto, Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi. There are also numerous charming little villages – many of medieval origin - as Amelia, Labro, Spello, Norcia, Bevagna, Montefalco to visit. In many towns and villages you can taste local dishes or buy local wines and olive oil (generally of excellent quality). You can also easily visit – in day trips - famous towns and charming villages in the southern part of Tuscany such as Siena, Arezzo, San Giminiano, Pienza, Cortona, Sinalunga, etc. Many tourists visit also Rome from here (without staying in the city which is very hot in summer) once or more times. It is possible to go by car (journey of 1h-1h30) or by train from the stations of: Terni, Narni-Amelia, Orte & Orvieto.
