The property lies just outside the town of Monterosi, 40 Kms from Rome and 5 Kms form the lake of Bracciano in a quiet location. If you want to visit Rome without going by car, it is possible to do it by public transport. There is a busstop 800 meters from the property (there is a bus direction Rome every 30/40 minutes), by bus it takes 35 minutes to reach the station of "Saxa Rubra". From Saxa Rubra, with the underground/railway, you can reach the several areas of Rome and the airports. Both airports of Rome are around 60 Kms from the property (approximately 1 hour by car). There are two houses for rent, each house is around 90sqm (own terrace equipped with table/chairs & BBQ, living/dining room, kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 single beds on mezzanine in the living room), each has 6 sleeps + a cot. The property is also suitable for 2 families who want to go on holiday together (max 12 persons + 2 babies). There is a large well maintained garden (completely fenced) and a 6x12 meter pool with romain stairs at disposition of the tenant/s. There are also some bycicle available. Shops and restaurants are at walking distance (supermarket, bar, bank and 2 restaurants are all around 500/600 meters far away). 4 more restaurants within 2 kms from the property. The owners (couple around 70's) live in the nearby house (at around 40 meters from the holiday homes) are at guest's disposal but in the meantime leave them totally free to enjoy their own privacy.

The property lies 5 Kms from the lake of Bracciano with his charming villages & towns of Trevignano-Bracciano (and his castle)-Anguillara. The nearest sand beaches of the Bracciano lake are near Anquillara (18 Kms) and Bracciano is 24 Kms, the nearest sand beach at sea is 40 Kms far away. You can easily visit a lot of historic places like Ostia Antica to the west of Rome, Viterbo, Tuscania, Bracciano, Tarquinia and Cerveteri. Both of the last two towns are mainly known for the Etruscan tombs and the museums with finds from the graves. Then there are various smaller places like Sutri and Calgata, located in a panoramic tuff stone valley. It is also well located for golf holidays, the Golf Club Nazionale Resort ( http://www.golfnazionale.it/ ) is 3,4 Kms far away from the property. There are 3 more courses at 16, 30 and 37 Kms (Golf club Olgiata & Golf club arco di Costantino, Parco di Roma golf Club).

To reach the property from the airport of Rome by public transport:

Ciampino: take the Terravision bus-service to  reach the Termini station . You can also take the bus-service Schiaffini to reach in a few minutes the Anagnina station, here you can take the underground to Termini. At Termini station take the metro direction Battisitini, get off at Flaminio and take the train to Viterbo and get off at Saxa Rubra. Here you can take a taxi or the bus for Monterosi. The bus stop is around 800 meters from the holiday homes.

Fiumicino: at the airport take the train to Roma Termini. At Termini station take the underground direction Battisitini, get off at Flaminio and take the train to Viterbo and get off at Saxa Rubra. Here you can take a taxi or the bus to Monterosi.
