The property lies halfway between the touristic town of Orvieto (13 kms) and the charming village of Bagnoregio (13 kms). The location is ideal to visit Umbria, southern Tuscany, Rome and Lazio north. In around 15 minutes driving you are on the motorway Rome-Florence. From the train station of Orvieto Scalo you can reach in 1h30 Rome and Florence. The lake and the beaches of Bolsena are 25 kms far away. 1 km away is a small supermarket, all other shops are available in the town of Orvieto. The property is suitable for max 15 persons and has a private garden (totally fenced) with pool for private use of the tenant. It is located in a very quiet area surrounded by nature. On the property there are 3 buildings, 2 of which are rented (the 3rd building is not leased and is not inhabitated by other people). The building close to the pool has 2 bedrooms and a large hall where you can eat all together. The 2nd building is divided into 4 apartments (one also suitable for wheelchair users).

SOUTHERN/CENTRE UMBRIA

In Umbria, a region that has gained a name for being the green heart of Italy, tourism is growing because of the unfamiliar harmony between nature, antiquities, historic centres and culture. The quiet of the countryside, good provisions and an inimitable cuisine are the great draw. This region is less touristy than Tuscany and this is especially appreciated by many tourists.

Southern/centre Umbria forms an ideal starting point for enjoying the peace of the surrounding hilly and mountainous landscape and on the other hand making trips to beautifull towns like Todi, Orvieto, Narni, Spoleto, Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi. There are also numerous charming little villages – many of medieval origin - as Amelia, Labro, Spello, Norcia, Bevagna, Montefalco to visit. In many towns and villages you can taste local dishes or buy local wines and olive oil (generally of excellent quality). You can also easily visit – in day trips - famous towns and charming villages in the southern part of Tuscany such as Siena, Arezzo, San Giminiano, Pienza, Cortona, Sinalunga, etc. Many tourists visit also Rome from here (without staying in the city which is very hot in summer) once or more times. It is possible to go by car (journey of 1h-1h30) or by train from the stations of: Terni, Narni-Amelia, Orte & Orvieto.
