The villa is situated in a quiet position on the border Tuscany/Latium border. It lies 5 kms northern of Pescia Romana and 37 from the well-known Monte Argentario. It is a good choice for them who want to combine a seaside holiday with visits to places with Etruscan archaeological tombs and museums, like Vulci, Tarquinia, Cerveteri. Also for visiting Sovana, Manciano, Pitigliano, Orbetello, and in West Tuscany Porto Ercole, Porto S. Stefano, Argentario, Isola del Giglio. Rome lies 130 km far away. Also Cittavecchia asks attention as a seaport of increasing importance, and because of the fact that one can take there the ferry boat for day-excursions to several islands. The sand beach of Chiarone lies 3 kms from the villa. On the beach you will find a bar and a restaurant. It is possible to rent sun loungers and sun umbrellas and parasols. 2 bikes are at disposition of the quests if you don't want to go by car or walk, it is possible to rent more bikes nearby. The villa is an old farmhouse that has been transformed into a very cosy villa (villa and garden are for private use of the tenant). It is encircled by a 3500 sqm lawn for and has a large covered terrace to eat outside. Barbecue and stone oven are available for cooking. Dogs are admitted (the property is only fenced on the street side). The nearest shops are available in Pescia Romana (5 kms from the property), there is an agriturismo/restaurant just 20 meters far away, more restaurants are availble at 1-2 kms and in the town of Pescia Romana. Nearest golf courses: Tarquinia (9 holes) 29 kms, Saturnia (18 holes) 37 kms, Punta Ala (18 holes) 100 kms. |
