Casa Claudia is
an ancient farmhouse of the IXth century completely restored by its present
owners, who have divided it into 7 wonderful apartments dedicated to very
charming guests. Each apartment has got a lot of details, such as
decorations on the walls and ancient furniture. A big fireplace has been
realized almost in every living-room and this creates a very unique and
really comfortable atmosphere.
The guest
enjoys reserve, relax and comfort, plunging into an absolutely bucolic
environment. The oval swimming-pool (about 110 sq metres) with its wide sun-
parlour is situated in the big surrounding park (about 3 acres). Each
apartment has got also its own outdoor area to have a lunch or a break
there).
The
farmhouse is on the magnificent tableland Le Chiarne, the heart of Crete
Senesi and it is only 7 kms away from the artistic village Asciano and just
few minutes from Rapolano Terme, a renewed place for its spa-sources and
ancient travertine- quarries. With just 20 minutes you arrive to Siena, the
cradle of art, history and tradition and with less than 10 minutes you
enter the centre of Chianti Classico.
