Narni is 9 km south of Amelia, where we live ourselves. A very beautiful little medieval town on the rocks, surrounded by a deeply cut valley. You have to go right through the town and then at every turn you discover fresh vistas, prospects and monuments. A completely restored fort, hundreds of years old, stands high above the actual town and is also worth a visit combined with a stroll with very beautiful views. For a visit to Rome by car Narni is well situated because in nearby Magliano Sabina you come to the motorway. South of Narni there is also an area with numerous little towns in the country roundabout. A lot of what we said about the places you can visit from Amelia also applies to Narni.

On a closed-off part in the middle of the woods in the hills around Narni, near to the hamlet of Itieli, are 2 holiday homes under one roof (each one 65 sq m), with a swimming pool. The park itself also consists of woods and partly of open country. The situation there is also one of great quiet. The houses have a communal outside covered terrace, but for privacy a bamboo screen can be lowered if desired. The owners, always ready to be of service to their guests, live in an annexe. The houses are especially suitable for two friendly families who want to go on holiday together and help each other out with childcare etc. Because of its high position, shade and construction the houses have a pleasant temperature even in summer.
